Birthday Card Tutorial by Maya

Hello Samantha Walker friends! Today I am going to share with you a birthday card. Since I saw these birthday cake shapes in the store I was waiting for an opportunity to use them. That opportunity came when I started to work on a birthday card for my daughter that turned fifteen this month.

I used Pop Up Circles Card as a base. The Antique Oval Frame was the perfect background for the Turning Fifteen Cake.

The pink and the yellow papers are from the Cool Summer 6x6 pad by Samantha Walker for Carta Bella.

I used my finger nail to pop up the circles on the card front and adhered it to the card base by added adhesive in the center, behind the oval frame. I used a glue pen for the cake parts. To finish my card I added white pearls to the frame and a tiny bow to the cake base.

There are many more birthday cake shapes in the store - one for every milestone you can think about and also a generic one like this.

Thanks for stopping by today!

From time to time I make recommendations of products that I love to use, or products that I have designed. Occasionally, manufacturers send me products to play with. They have not obligated me to show them on my blog or review them. I only make positive remarks about those things that I truly love and enjoy to use. Everyone's personal experience with various products may be different, as we all use things in different ways. I am not compensated for these remarks, and merely pass on my opinion to you as a reader. I hope you find my opinions valuable.
