Valentine box by Diana

Hi! Diana here with you today to share with you how easy it is to make this lovely Valentine's gift box. I used the Cameo and studio files to create this with only card stock I had on hand and some buttons.

For the box, I used Samantha Walker's 3D Box Heart Handle studio file. Below are the settings I used to cut a medium-weight card stock with a slight grainy texture on one side of the paper.

For the decor on the box, I used a mix of Samantha Walker's Leaf Border and a portion of the flowers in the 3D Decorative Flowers. Both of these were sized to fit the box, ungrouped, duplicated and each put on one side of the cutting mat. I put pink paper on the left side and white paper on the right. Doing this saves paper and time setting up multiple files.

Once it was cut, the box was easy to assemble. In fact, I just put the tabs into the provided slots and didn't even use any adhesive!

Up close you can see the detail in the more intricate cut of the leaves. Even at 2 inches, the leaves cut perfectly!

I hope this inspires you to make a cute gift box for Valentine's Day for someone special!
