CHA Sneak Peek: BLOSSOM!!! (AKA: Enchanted Garden on the fabric side)

I am thrilled to announce my soon to be released line: "Blossom" for Creative Imaginations. This line will debut at Winter CHA in Los Angeles and is the little sister to my extensive Enchanted Garden Fabric collection for Riley Blake Designs. The two lines will coordinate seamlessly together, so... if you want, you can hunt down the fabric to use on your paper projects for a fun mix and match effect. Surprise, there are already some coordinating digital dies in my portfolio in the Silhouette download store to use with this line in your projects...AND matching rubber stamps through Unity Stamp company.  But wait...there's more...(Oh no, not the set Ginzu steak knives) but rather, there are 4 coordinating wall tins that go on sale to retailers this weekend at the Gift Market in Atlanta sold through VIP international, look for them at a home decor boutique near you. (Okay, only the over 30 somethings might understand the Ginzu knife reference.)

More about the collection:
In the Blossom scrapbook collection, you will be treated to coordinating double sided card-stock, stickers, epoxies, and die cuts. You can see examples of how fabric can be used on paper projects by my Creative Team members in our blog hop post below.

Inspirations behind it all:
The flower designs were inspired by antique lace doilies, and my favorite childhood wallpaper in the bedroom where my sister and I shared a bunk bed. The wall paper was a typical 70's flower power pattern with big orange and pink flowers, and blue birds. The colors of the 70's are so cheerful, bold and carefree. My Mom was so hip to put that wallpaper up in my room. Forgive me Mom for ripping a huge hole in the wallpaper when I was a little girl. There was a little "lift" in the wallpaper at the seam, and it was just so tempting as a girl to "help it along." I really did love the wallpaper! Anyway...enough with all that background info. I hope that I was able to replicate a unique modern spin on an antique-retro feeling. Let me know if this line sparks any feelings in you...I want to hear what you think!

Inspiring projects:
You won't want to miss what the Creative Imaginations Design team has done with my paper line. You can check their projects out here.  While you are there, please leave them a comment.  They have been working so hard to create many beautiful things for this upcoming CHA, and I know that they appreciate feedback.

Important:
If you like this line, what I need for you to do, is go to your scrapbook stores now, and REQUEST that they order it at CHA at the end of this month. Your support is always appreciated and will give you a better chance of bringing the Blossom Collection to a store near you.

Giveaway Info!
Leave a comment here on my blog by January 26th, and don't forget to click the "like" button at the top of this post. Your comment will enter you into a drawing to win a bundle of Enchanted Garden Fabric--this is the line that coordinates with my Blossom Collection for Creative Imaginations, I'll let you choose which color-way to send if you win. You can receive a bonus entry by leaving a comment on the Creative Imagination blog post regarding the Blossom Sneak peek. Thanks for taking the time to stop by my blog...without you...I wouldn't have a blog.  Good Luck!

I love the scrapbook line! Very nice that it coordinates with the fabric too! Can't you just see a crazy crafter making an outfit for their child to coordinate with the LO! That's a step above dressing the children to match the paper you have!

This line is beautiful. I wish I could have had this kind of wallpaper growing up. I begged my dad to let me paint my room purple. He said I could pick the shade. NOT. I had very light walls and balloon border. LOL I didn't want plum or anything dark, just a little darker than what he wanted. LOL Thanks for a chance to win.
